The FoodTech® Ile-de-France (IDF) ecosystem is supported by the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, a major player in the regional economy serving companies and regions.

The CCI Paris Ile-de-France's mission is to :

  • Represent companies in dealings with public authorities
  • Train tomorrow's entrepreneurs through its network of some twenty schools, including FERRANDI, ISIPCA, HEC and ESCP Europe.
  • Support and develop projects, from start-up to transfer, through expertise in areas such as research funding and taxation, digital strategy with Les Digiteurs, HR management and recruitment, international business with Team France Export, hosting with its subsidiary WACANO... and access to numerous clubs and networks.

Within the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, the FoodTech® Ile-de-France ecosystem is supported by Club AgroAlia, launched by the CCI Val-de-Marne in 2017 with a regional scope, and dedicated to start-ups in the foodtech sector and players in the agri-food industry.

Since its launch, Club AgroAlia has supported more than 70 project leaders and start-ups, and more than 35 partners.

With around 50 new members each year, Club AgroAlia brings together startups, public bodies, major private groups, schools and foodtech experts.

Visit the network at www.clubagroalia.fr

Club AgroAlia offers a wide range of opportunities through the CCI network: testing of new products (Pop'Up store), access to financing/subsidies and high visibility (food innovation competition, social networks, testimonials at our workshops and events...).

Our specificity
Texte

The Paris Region has established itself as a buoyant ecosystem for foodtech and agritech entrepreneurs, with flagship sectors in line with the region's specific characteristics: urban agriculture and direct producers, the fight against food waste, urban constraints and logistics... and strong consumer expectations in terms of innovative services and new products.

A region of exploration, experimentation and innovation, Paris Region accounts for 54% of start-ups in the sector (2020 and 2021) and over 340 active foodtech-agtech start-ups, i.e. 52% of the national total. It also accounts for 64% of total investment in France over the same period. (source: Digital Food Lab)

The Ile-de-France region brings together many complementary players in their support and services for businesses and territories.

For example

  • Territory: Agoralim, Cité de la gastronomie Paris-Rungis, MIN de Rungis...
  • Ecosystems: AgroAlia, ShakeUpFactory, Rungis&Co, SmartFoodParis, United Kitchens, Vitagora, Hectar, Ferrandi Entrepreneurs...
